From its casual eateries to more formal dining experiences, passengers can expect a truly elevated level of cuisine onboard. Beyond those changes -- and the addition of new suites (see below), the Crystal Symphony deck plan exists largely as it did after the ship's sweeping 2017 refit. Flow between public rooms is excellent, and it's relatively easy to find your way around after just a few hours onboard, in stark contrast to some of the megaships plying the oceans today. The 140-night-long itinerary starts from Miami Florida (January 11, 2023) and ends in Barcelona Spain (May 31). Two alternate disembarkation options are offered - Venice (128-night itinerary) and Piraeus-Athens (119-night itinerary). Crystal offers a total of 9 separate itinerary segments ranging from 9- to 23-nights.

Among cabins on Crystal Symphony, the most interesting development is the creation of a number of new Junior Crystal Suites, Sapphire Oceanview Suites and Sapphire Veranda Suites. The Sapphire suites offer brand-new décor and up to 430 square feet of living space, along with separate living and sleeping areas, a walk-in closet, dual vanities, and an oversized shower that offers push-button rainforest, jetted or wand options. Junior Crystal Suites add even more space -- up to 645 square feet, not including the 161-square-foot verandas that are as big as an entry-level cabin on some cruise ships.

In addition, on Deck 6, just off the central atrium, passengers will find a Parisian-inspired cafe serving espresso drinks and light snacks throughout the day (this is the place to get your coffee fix). In the morning, there's a self-serve continental breakfast here, arrayed along a buffet on one end of the room. The afternoon brings a spread of cold cuts, scrumptious cakes, cannoli and other desserts, and fruit. Waterside is also open for breakfast and lunch — the place to go when you want something a little more formal for breakfast or lunch than a quick bite at one of the casual eateries on the Lido Deck. There are eight ADA rooms on Crystal Serenity — some aquamarine veranda suites and some aquamarine ocean-view suites. The most luxurious of Serenity's 377 suites is the 1,275-square-foot Crystal Penthouse. The bathroom — with a full peachflower marble tub — is exquisite, as is the plentiful balcony space.
